weekend reading

Hello friends! I've got several crafty links for you! All of these make me excited to make and be creative. This weekend I'm hoping to do some knitting and weaving, and maybe a little bit of sewing!

Kate over at The Weaving Loom posted a tutorial for these adorable little weavings. How cute would these be as ornaments or on top presents?! I have a whole bag of yarn scraps and I'm thinking this will be the perfect use for them. That, or some fun tassels!

I'm on the hunt for some flannel sheets. Apparently I only have one set and it's missing a pillowcase. I found this really cute set on the Land of Nod and I might have to splurge on them!

"Creativity is allowing yourself to be you." Yes. I love this idea for morning making and not filling my first minutes with my phone, computer, or TV. I have practiced having a quiet 15 minutes first thing in the morning and it really is the best. I like to fill mine with prayer and poetry, but I think it would be nice to add a little handwork project in there too.
